    WHAT'S CLOSE BY?
Toowoomba's Queens Park with its beautiful gardens and well equipped children's playgrounds is only five to ten minute walk away - and a very pleasant stroll through the park will lead you to the CBD with its shopping, theatres and coffee shops.

We are conveniently close to Toowoomba's hospitals and private schools. Cobb and Co Museum is literally around the corner and the TAFE College is only a few doors up the street. If you don't feel like driving further afield, then catch a bus to the city centre right outside the front door.

    ABOUT TOOWOOMBA AND REGION:

Toowoomba's garden gallery   Toowoomba's weather today   We love Toowoomba!

Queensland's Toowoomba economic region has a great wealth of agricultural and mineral resources, is home to 340,000-plus people and stretches well over 1,000 km west to east and 400 km north to south. Drive up from Brisbane and at the top of the range is Toowoomba, regional capital. The hilltop air is usually dryer here than Brisbane's and in winter, definitely more bracing. City aspirations, country connections, dozens of parks and not far away, the rich Surat basin with its huge deposits of coal and natural gas. Leafy Toowoomba has many of the facilities you would expect in a major city, but misses out on most of the disadvantages. It is home to a number of private schools as well as the University of Southern Queensland.
